Haven Perran SandsPerran Sands holiday park is situated south of Newquay and within good access of the beach at Perranporth, The park itself is located very closed to a great beach and this can be accessed across the dunes (but this does require some care as it’s steep in places). For entertainment & leisure, the park has a large heated indoor pool plus an outdoor pool with slide. As with most Haven parks there are plenty of eating places including bars and take-aways. This is a large site that has caravan and “glamping” accommodation along with an area for touring pitches.

St.Ives & Hayle

St IvesSt.Ives is a beautiful seaside town that arcs around a historic harbour. St.Ives was once a bustling fishing community and today visitors can still find small fishing boats nestling in the harbour. The town itself is full of winding cobbles streets packed with independent shops, pubs and restaurants.

There are many things to do including taking a boat trip to Seal Island (you’ll probably catch a glimpse of a seal or two!). There are also many fine beaches along this stretch of the coast. Near to St.Ives are Porthminster, Porthmeor (good for surfing), Bamaluz (small beach), Porthgwidden (small beach) and the Harbour beach.

Hayle beachesFurther south east along the coast is the small town of Hayle. Within close proximity of the town is an amazing 3 mile stretch of golden sandy beaches. Gwithian beach is also a popular beach for those keen on surfing or body-boarding.

There is an abundance of accommodation available in the area with a number of caravan holiday parks situated around Hayle.
